It is what it is

Overall the installation was very easy. All you really needed was a screw-driver and an extra pair of hands.

I drive a lot an hope that the bug deflector will help protect my windsheild and hood from stone chips and bug tar. I have noticed that it collects bugs well, but cleans off pretty easily.

The shade was a bit bigger than I had expected, and it protrudes from the top and sides quite a bit. I was hoping for something a little more streamlined, yet still functional.

When I drive on the highway, the shield does produce a little additional wind-noise, but nothing too noticeable.

Overall it's a pretty good buy.

Looks great

My car is white so this looks wonderful with the black trim on the bottom and the black deflector on top. If not for the wind noise I would have given it 5 stars.

This was a bit challenging to install as the last two holes did not line up until I put a #2 Phillips in the one hole and moved the deflector so the holes did line up. It uses plastic fastners that fit in existing holes so attachment and the installation is very well designed.

In Florida you have bugs all year around so shortly I will know by where the bugs hit on the windshield how well it works and I will update this.

I am using Liquid Glass LG-100 Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish - 16 oz. on the deflector itself as we have love bugs that have very acidic innards that pits the surface of the deflectors, the paint, and plastic headlight covers.

The deflector make noise, it sounds like it is windy when it is not.

It has not affected gas mileage.
