Good fit for the 2006 Ford Escape XLT

Decided to get this deflector after my wind shield took a chip from a stone from driving behind a gravel truck on the freeway. Deflectors do a good job keeping stones and bugs off your hood and windshield. Chose this item over the other ones offered on Amazon because it was made of more durable Polycarbonate resin instead of acrylic. Another advantage is that the angle of the Lund Interceptor allows you to clean behind the deflector. I have one on my 1990 Toyota PU from another manufacturer. Branches, leaves and other debris gets stuck behind the deflector. The fasteners installed easily and held the deflector in place. The are also made of resin and screws into the existing holes under the hood for a good fit. I prefer the non-metalic fasteners that came with the product, I hope that the other reviewer used non-metallic fasteners, otherwise there will be problems later with rust. Although the deflector feels loose when the hood is up (it is fastened only on 4 points), it feels solid when the hood is down and does not flutter on the freeway. Good purchase and value.

Easy to install and nice quality

Good custom fit and I like that it covers the entire front and stands off fairly far from the hood. It had feeble fasteners but I used some nicer ones from Lowes and it attached securely.
